Descriptions Aiphone LE-SSR Vandal- And Weather-Resistant Two-Gang Door Station For Use With AP-M, LAF-C, LDF, LEF, LEM, And MP-S Series Intercom Systems
The Aiphone LE-SSR vandal- and weather-resistant two-gang door station works with an Aiphone AP-M, LAF-C, LDF, LEF, LEM, or MP-S Series master station (sold separately) to enable audio communication with visitors. The 12-ga. stainless steel faceplate with red mushroom call-in button mounts using the included tamper-proof mounting screws, and the water- and puncture-resistant speaker is covered by a baffle for security. The station can either mount onto the surface of a wall using the Aiphone SBX-2G surface-mount enclosure (sold separately) or mount flush onto a two-gang box using the included hardware.
The door station is powered by the connected master station. Use Aiphone 822202 or 821802 wire (sold separately) for the AP-M, LEM, and MP-S Series. For the LEF Series, use Aiphone 822203 wire for homerun wiring, Aiphone 822206 wire for up to 4 stations per run, or Aiphone 822210 wire for up to 8 stations per run (sold separately). Overall dimensions are 4-11/16 x 4-11/16 x 2 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
Door intercom systems allow an occupant of a building to communicate remotely with a visitor through at least one door intercom and master intercom. Master intercoms with a door-access button remotely unlock the door for the visitor.
Aiphone manufactures intercom systems for residential, business, and healthcare structures. The company, founded in Japan in 1948, has its North American headquarters in Bellevue, WA. Aiphone meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards 9001 and 14001.
