Descriptions Aiphone JFS-2AEDF Audio/Video Intercom System With Flush-Mount Door Station With Stainless Steel Faceplate For Single Door, Accepts An Additional Door Station And Up To Two Sub-Master Stations
The JFS-2AEDF audio/video intercom set includes one flush-mount door station with camera and stainless steel faceplate, a master station with LCD screen and image recording, and a power supply to enable remote communication and visual identification of visitors prior to authorizing access to the building. The door station includes a 1/4" color camera that sends live video feed to a master station's 3-1/2" color LCD monitor when a visitor presses the call button, and the white LED illuminates the visitor area to brighten the video feed in low-light environments. The master station's internal memory allows audio messages and monitor images to be stored and automatically labeled with the date and time. Image recording can be automated to capture images whenever a call from the door station is received, or can be manually controlled by the master operator using the record button. Up to 50 images can be recorded at a time (with each image containing 8 frames captured over 8 seconds) and up to 10 images can be saved to the station's memory. The station holds up to two 10-second voice recordings that can be replayed through the door station when personal communication with a visitor is not possible or preferred. Up to three 10-second voice memos can also be stored in the memory for use by the master station operators for reminders and notes.
The master station answers a call by either holding down the answering button for push-to-talk action or by tapping the answering button for hands-free communication with the caller. The door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor and, when used with two door stations and the Aiphone RY-3DL door-release adapter (sold separately), the master operator can select which of the doors to release. The call button initiates audio communication with up to two sub-master stations (sold separately) for remote communication. The monitor button can be pressed at any time to listen and receive video feed from the door station. The chime and audio volume on the master station is adjustable. The door station has a stainless steel faceplate, metal call button, and clear polycarbonate lens cover. It mounts flush against a wall using the included backbox. The master station housing is ABS plastic and mounts to a wall using a single-gang box or ring.
